Product Description

Secure storage cages, server enclosures, and tool storage cribs can all be constructed using wire partitions for virtually any size and configuration. Wire Partitions are used for securing and guarding all types of equipment, products, inventory, and even separate areas within a building.

Wire partitions are modular steel systems commonly used to construct structures for safety, security, and separation.

What Are Wire Partitions?

Wire partitions are modular steel systems commonly used to construct structures for safety, security, and separation. Wire mesh is welded into a steel frame to provide heavy-duty, rigid panels which are then bolted to square steel tubing posts to create a strong modular wall or cage. Stock panels come in one foot increments from 1' to 10' wide, and in heights of 4' and 5'. An assortment of mesh options are available depending on your specific application's needs, including our standard 2" x 1" Style 840 woven mesh, welded wire mesh, and even mesh substitutes. Other material specifications are available upon request.

Along with our assortment of wire partition panels and posts, we also offer a variety of doors; 3' or 4' hinged or sliding being the most common. Clear span ceilings up to 30' wide can even be constructed using stock panels.

Common Wire Partition Configurations

Standard configurations of our wire partitions and storage cages are typically one, two, three, or four sided partition systems with an entry door to the enclosed area. Larger stock cages are also available with sliding doors up to 10' wide along with other custom wire partition configurations to accommodate virtually any layout and application.

Custom wire partition configurations accommodate virtually any layout and application.

Safety, Security, & Separation

Wire partitions are commonly used to construct tool cribs, maintenance cages, and general storage areas. Also, free-standing, multi-use enclosures and partitions for storage, server security, and even separating areas of a building are typical applications. Secure cages are built with wire partition panels and used for inventory control where open access to products may be a problem, and are also commonly used for machine guarding and robotic work cells where safety is a major concern.

Wire partition panels are often bolted to the back of pallet rack uprights in warehouses and distribution centers to protect personnel in active aisle ways from potential falling objects, and to the front of the racks to create an enclosuring to prevent inventory shrinkage. Safety, Security, & Separation with Wire Paritions

We offer a wide variety of options for the basic wire partition secure storage cage. Along with standard hinged and sliding doors, vertical rise doors, motorized sliding doors, and dutch and double-hinged doors are available. These doors can be equipped with a basic key lock, or for more security, we also offer keypad locks, card readers, finger print scanners, and even emergency exit push bars. We stock eight different powder coat colors in house, but can also match any color with a paint chip or RAL number.

Applications

A Style 840 Wire Partition Cage constructed using wire mesh panels and configured with a locking, hinged door.

Using our Style 840 Wire Partitions, we can design almost any security enclosure or storage cage at practically any desired height, all while accomodating any existing fixtures and obstructions. The open but secure design allows for existing light, HVAC, and fire suppression systems to continue to work throughout the storage area.

Panels are constructed of 10 gauge wire, woven into a 2" x 1" rectangular mesh, which is then welded into a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/8" hot rolled angle. Panels then bolt directly to a 2" square, 14 gauge steel tube post with 3/8" hardware - the strongest in the industry.

A wide variety of options are available for our wire partitions and applications, including an array of doors, standard and custom locks, and powder coat finishes.

Secured Tool and Storage Enclosures are the perfect solution for controlling access to equipment and increasing accountability, all while keeping the contents of the cage in plain site.

Secure tool storage cribs for maintenance staff, janitorial supplies, inventory, and even your most valuable items can be designed and constructed using wire partitions.

Storage cages can be equipped with a variety of standard or custom locks depending on the specific application; from simple key locks to high security controlled access.

With a designated, secure area to store tools and equipment, you no longer worry about who has what tool, or where tools have been misplaced.

Server Cages constructed from wire partitions can be mounted on raised computer floors; ideal for separating and securing company servers and network equipment.

Server Cages are an attractive, inexpensive, modular option to your network security concerns. Divide servers and computer equipment or entire New York hosting facilities with our easily reconfigurable server enclosure system.

We design our server storage cages with all of the hardware on the secure side of the cage, guaranteeing controlled access and security. Various lock options are availble to protect sensitive data and equipment; from simple key locks to biometric fingerprint readers.

Driver Access Cages provide an area to keep building visitors confined. Preventing drivers & guests from wandering into dangerous areas or gaining access to inventory or dangerous equipment.

Driver Access Cages are a simple, cost effective way of controlling access to distribution centers, warehouses, and factory floors. Building access is controlled by surrounding entry doors with wire partitions, confining truck drivers and other visitors to a controlled area.

Confining visitors keeps them safe from automated machinery, forktruck traffic, and other hazards while also preventing inventory shrinkage.

Typically, Driver Cages are located near shipping areas and are furnished with a service window with a self to provide a counter for transferring documents. For additional security, a ceiling panel made of the same wire mesh panels can be added to the cage.

Evidence Enclosures and Secure Storage Cages are ideal for securing and storing items in plain sight, while keeping them secure and only accessable by authorized personnel. Service windows can be added to Evidence Enlcosures and secured storage areas for controlled distribution of stored items.

Our secure enclosures control access to property and inventory while keeping it in plain sight. Create self-contained secure storage enclosures perfect for evidence storage, property rooms, and other sensitive items. Our wire partition system allows you to safely bring in goods knowing that they will be heavily secured and protected from unauthorized access.

Standard slide up service windows with fixed counters are available; perfect for issue stations and distribution points. Secure cages can be fit to rooms of any size or height, and can be equipped with an assortment of standard or custom locks.

Featuring self-closing & self-locking doors, solid steel construction, with panels mounting flush to the floor, our drug storage cages are perfect for pharmacies and drug warehouses.

When properly installed, Style 840 Wire Partitions meet the DEA's requirements for physical security of Schedule III through V controlled substances. This configuration of wire partitions is ideally suited for pharmaceutical storage, medical facilities, drug distribution centers, and much more.

Key DEA specifications in which our drug storage cages meet or exceed:

  • Self-closing & self-locking doors.
  • Walls constructed of not less than No.10 steel fabric with openings not more than 2-1/2" across the square, mounted on steel posts, set no more than ten feet apart, with horizontal reinforcement.
  • Walls mounted to posts at least one inch in diameter, lagged to the floor.
  • Ceiling made of same materials as walls, or erected to reach the strutural ceiling of the facility.
  • Panels mount flush to the floor.
All hardware is mounted on the inside of the Holding Cell, preventing access to detainees from the inside.

Our wire partition system is used to build prisoner holding cells in correctional and detention centers across the New York Metro Area. These Holding Cells are designed for temporary confinement while detainees are being processed or held for a short period of time.

A variety of locks are available to secure the Holding Cell, and the unique design prevents access to any hardware from the secure side of the cage. The open but secure design allows free circulation of existing lighting, HVAC, and fire suppression systems throughout the secured area. Heavy duty options are available for facilities requiring enhanced security.
